Some thought gone into making them. Can we take the gator thing a bit further. I went out of my way to get gators that have a rubber strap and S/S cable, for adjustment and wear factor. Mine will stand up on their own very stiff canvas, i have taken the point of a knife and stabbed at them something like a snake bite. It just slid off, they are a fine knit canvas gator. These came from Aussie disposals. I have found the tougher they are the hotter they are to wear. Whats your thoughts on the straps, rubber and S/S cable, around 2mm dia. Having tried many types, i found i ended up looking at how they attach and how comfy they were to wear and the heat factor. The cable makes them easy to keep clean.
