  1. +1 to what Grumpy said. Deal extreme a chinese site has torches. Extremely good prices with free shipping. Completely safe I've used them many times. Flood to throw torches are excellent and are great for the bunnies. Can take up to a few weeks for delivery though. Get yourself some mounts etc while you are there. Cheap as chips.
  2. It's awesome I keep going out the back now and again and flashing it around Gotta wait for the 2 x different mounts from dealextreme coming from china. Might have to get out the gaffa tape in the meantime
  3. I just got my EDI-Tech P4 off Ebay today as recommended by Epitome. It's a friggin cracker!! 250 lumens and takes 3 AAA batteries. Easily the best torch I've ever used, I was a bit worried when I pulled it out and saw how small it was but it's all good. Cost $65 and $15 postage. Paid for it Monday and it arrived in Hobart from Brisbane today (Friday)
  4. Cheer mate you've been a big help. Gonna order the torch and mounts now. Rock n Roll
  5. Cheers mate, much appreciated. One more question...... what did you pay for yours and where did you get your gun mount? There is one on Ebay for 65 but no mount. Actually that was 2 questions
  6. Thanks guys........... What sort of effective range should I be expecting??
  7. Thinking of getting the Led Lenser P7 but there is an Edi-Tech torch in the latest Australian Shooter that is $10 cheaper and comes with a rifle mount. Any thoughts?
  8. My only worry with getting a P7 from Asia is you don't know whether you're getting the real thing. I was thinking of putting it on a .22 cz. Interesting to note that some of you blokes say that the beam could be too powerful and freak the rabbits out. Lower power saves on batteries though I guess. I take it at $10 a battery that the Ultrafire uses some sort of obscure battery? I would be willing to lose $28 on a chance with the Ultrafire but I dunno about $80. Then again might put the $28 toward a P7 and buy it local. Thanks for the responses.
  9. I'd be interested to hear how the P7 goes when you get it. I was looking a getting that and there are some pretty good vids on it on Youtube. A fellow shooter's opinion would be good though. Just trying to justify the price to myself too, the cheapest P7 I have seen was about $100.
  10. has not set their status

  11. Thanks for your reply. The use would be general purpose but having a focus option would be good. I looked at the Led Lenser P7 but around $100 is hard for me to justify for a torch. Cheers
  12. Hey All, Can anyone shed any light (no pun intended) on the Fenix range of torches listed at the top of this page? They sound pretty good and seem fairly priced. Cheers Murray
