  1. I got one of these from ebay a while back. Thats the best price Ive seen eh. I find them comfortable but Im a small fella.
  2. I also like my hunting gear to have some stretch so is far more comfortable when active.
  3. I hunt the sales for Kuiu, tusx, hunters element, ridgeline, stoney.
  4. Duncs, is this a legal post? Promoting a product - might need a business membership? 😱🤣😉
  5. Either ASAT 3D head/ face cover or hunters element blaze camo face buff.
  6. Hey mate, we'd all like to hear about your hunts and see some photos eh? I love red deer.
  7. thats a ripper - very nice shape.
  8. Yeah, the packs work very well imo. Packed out a couple of fallow now (previous hunting reports). Any boned out meat will tend to slump to the bottom of course but existing straps ensure it doesnt fall out. If worried, can use small type meat bags to pack in tight or perhaps an extra tie down strap. Ive not found it a big issue.
  9. Thats a great deal, thanks for letting everyone know.
  10. Just did some googling - as Duncs said - can be expensive for chopper - depending on the state. Im gonna check my insurance.
  11. I thought it was free too - but ambulance is not usually free, so not sure.
  12. yeah, great advice SS & Duncs, its easy to forget about that bit of important kit that could save your or a friends life one day. I do the check procedure once a year and Ive also registered it.
  13. Yeah, some items too expensive for me too. I've only bought packs and some accessories.
  14. I just bought the kuiu LT 4000 bag for day hunting - approx 65L- Swap it out for my 6000 pro on the same carbon fibre frame. I like around 65L min.
  15. S2S are great mats- almost too many choices.
  16. Nah, not been hunting since the last report. I have been doing some training hikes with sand bags in the pack - around 28kg all up. Longest just recently 7.5km. I found its taken a few hikes to work the pack out and adjust it - particularly when the weight comes on. I think I got it sorted now. Didnt take any photos of the pack loaded up - shoulda - do it next time. The meat is wedged between the carbon frame plate and the back of the pack. It sits really well as 2x compression straps each side from back to front of pack, 2 x on the bottom and pulls together really well so very little movement or over balance of the load.
  17. Im not sure the pluck foam in Evo gear is reusable? Quantas & jetstar allow extra carryon with rifle - but it has to be within the overall baggage limit - around 23kgs - and depends on how you travel ie economy etc. Also, I dont think you can share weight with others? Dont quote me, others know for sure.
  18. yeah, could be same factory. The weight limit sucks. I think the comparable pelican is about the same weight.
