  1. Yep I still have the Swaro 10x42 EL Range binos. I can’t see me ever changing to something else, I’m so happy with them they are just great on first and last light and everything in between. I’m pretty sure the price is astronomical now though I though when I paid $3100 for them it was expensive I think they are about $5000 now 😬
  2. That looks so good mate.
  3. Yep another +1 for the javelot. I saw a mate use one last year and it was unbelievable how good it was to me who doesn’t ever spotlight.
  4. No idea mate, I just googled cases for it after I got that mark on the screen it was a few years ago now.
  5. So I’ve had my new Garmin Montana 750i for a while now and love it so thought I would sell the old Rino 650. It still works fine, it has a slight rub mark on the screen from being in my pack and having something rubbing on it but once it’s turned on you can barely even see it. It also comes with a protective soft case which I brought after that happened. $480 if anyone wants it just send me a message, thought I’d advise it here first but if there is no interest in a few days I’ll advise it elsewhere.
  6. Just a bit more info on this post now that I’ve been using this stuff for a while now. The mat is good but it packs down way to big compared to pretty much every other mat I have seen on the market. And the mat isn’t very wide compared to others that also pack smaller. Still comfortable but I would go with one that packs smaller if buying again. Also the blow up pillow is ok if you just want the absolute lightest smallest thing to pack but I never really enjoyed sleeping on it and have changed to the sea to summit foam core pillow that rolls up. It rolls up rather big still for backpacking but it’s worth the comfort for me.
  7. I find the best thing for meeting the requirements is just use the Hunt NSW app that you use to book public land hunting. It has the forest boundaries in there maps and shows exactly where you are. Then just buy whatever gps you want.
  8. I brought the light weight helix for my back trip a few weeks back. It cost a boom and it was better than not having a chair, normally I would have just sat on a log which would have sucked in the rain and snow 😂 I’m a short arse and found it quite comfy but for a taller or heavier person I imagine it would be terrible.
  9. I use Sitka gear, it’s stupidly priced but it’s easily the best gear I have ever used, worth every penny to me.
  10. I’d say usedguns.com.au may be of some interest to you if your after a second hand rifle.
