    Filleting knives

I have a mora amongst plenty of others but it’s hands down my favourite. Had it for years. Dexter and marttiini are also solid choices. It really also depends on what type of fish your filleting/cleaning also as to what is best suited.
  2. Pioneer argyle hard floor camper. Quality Aussie built camper. Tough as nails will go absolutely anywhere your vehicle will go. Off-road Independent suspension. Pantry box, Abr Battery charger. 100 amp battery. Slide out kitchen/cook top. Bomb proof canvas camped out in horrible conditions and stayed completely dry. Arb 47L fridge if sold for the right price. Asking $13000
  3. Na I hadn’t considered it. Done a truck load of research mostly on the American forums etc. The eberlestock honestly didn’t get the best reviews so crossed it out. I don’t really like the idea of having to buy this frame than buy this pack than this lid than this add on etc. prefer just to get it all in 1 system that has been thought out already.
  4. I’ve sussed them on line that’s all. Not for me. I want a external load shelf in a pack. I’ve basically settled on a seek outside just need to pull the trigger on 1. May I ask what in the hell you need to tie to the outside of a 90l pack that you need straps left right and centre for? I feel if you can’t fit it in side the pack it should be left at home with that sort of capacity. Each to their own tho.
  5. Hey mate if you don’t mind me asking where did you order your exo from? I’ve been keen on a exo 4800 for a while just price been putting me off a little
  6. Reading with interest. I too am looking into getting a quality pack. I currently use a blackwolf and yes it gets me in the bush with all my gear and didn’t brake the bank but I find it garbage. My best mate has a exo 3500 and loves it. I’ve tried it on and it’s like heaven. I’ve been up in the air with what to get. But been really looking into mystery ranch beartooth 80 and I recon it looks alright. A exo would be ideal but boulder creek want $1300 for the 4800 which is up there.
  7. Boulder creek archery is where you will get exo from in Aus mate. I’m waiting for mystery ranch to have a bit of a sale that’s my chosen bit of kit. Very similar to exo. Stone glacier is another quality pack of the likes if that’s the style your after.
  8. What’s wrong with your black wolf? I like you got 1 based off a few good words on them. I feel it’s average at best. My back adjustment broke first trip so my shoulders get a huge work out. But it gets me out and didn’t brake the bank so no real damage done. My best mate has a exo and loves it. It really is a bloody good bit of kit. It’s the older version. The new 1 looks even better but whether the alloy frame is better than older I think titanium time will tell. Ill keep an eye here as I’m seriously looking for a new quality pack.
  9. I’ve got a cheap one from Aussie disposals under $50. About 20-25 litre. Does the trick for me. Room for couple of snacks and a drink plus stuff my jumper in and some back straps if needed. Don’t really need much more. If I’m to far from the Ute to cart meat back I’m not interested in nor chasing meat.
  10. Haven’t had anything to do with the Aldi ones. But bolt action productions on YouTube did a review of them might be worth a look if your interested. He gave it a alright wrap.
  11. Lightforce 240 all the way. I've got 1 and a old blazer light as well. Both good halogen lights but the lightforce is much lighter/brighter. My mate has a eBay hid light probly around 240mm. It's a pain in the arse every time you turn it on it needs to warm up. So have to either hold it down with it on or shine it around and wait till its bright. Plus it is really bright. Another mate brought a rechargeable lightforce 170 led. I havnt seen it working but he likes it. But his spotlighting is done on foot so it works for him not carrying a battery.
  12. Most arb stores have them plus few information centres I’ve seen have them also. Might be able have a look to save buying online.
  13. I would of said in that price range they won't be entry level. You will get a fairly decent pair. I've got a set of vortex binos. They didn't blow the budget but for me they are clear and spot deer. That's all I need. Worth a look in my eyes.

    New Fillet Knife?

That's the 1 mate. Bloody cracker. Yeah I'd love to get a few fish and roll a few hogs at the same time. Gee decent size lead your using. What depth are you pulling them out of. Or just strong currents. Think I've settled on a dexter Russell knife 8 inch Flexi blade. I'll give it a run anyway.

    New Fillet Knife?

Been smashing the fish lately mate. Got my boat back in action and putting the hours in. The king fish keep eluding me or busting me up lately. Mostly been getting into the snapper and gummies with a few others fish thrown in. I saw 1 of those tramontinas and they look alright. Victorinox are fairly stiff aren't they? Not much good for skinning gummies. Ah good 1! Once it's on the water you won't know yourself! The mrs showed me a photo of a nice trout you got the other day.
