len
Hi I wash my hunting clothes in LUX soap flakes. Lux Soap Flakes contain over 99% soap, it contains no bleach; enzymes or brightening agents to ensure your clothing is washed in a gentle and natural manner without all the added dyes etc Used quite frequently for years until all the likes of Omo, Fab etc came on the scene offering all the added extras, scents brighteners etc. For more scent control add some bicarb of soda into the wash as well
xavie
You can gte sportswash from rebel and all those types of sports stores too. I have heard about using lux but I always thought it would be a bit scented like normal soap. Vinegar is good but if you use to much you can smell it. However it is as good as anythign else on the market to sanitise and deodorise and once your clothes have aired it is not detectable by animals I am told. If you dry them ina clothes dryer though it can stick around. I was tempted to buy sportswash but I'm not sure it is worth it. Xav
Stalker
Don't get sucked in to all that stuff.....Harpers powdered Borax will wash all scent away. Get it from the super market. It will leave your hunting clothes odour free.
Jack
Was more worried about the UV brighteners and stuff added to most commercial washing powders. They reckon it makes you glow in the eyes of a deer? Not really worried about scent.

len
To get the blood stains out - wash the stain with cold salty water first Then put the garment in the normal wash Do not wash blood stains with warm or hot water - this will set the stain by

len
Red wine in a berber carpet Hmmmm let me think!!!!! Is that were you pat the stain dry with some super absorbent paper and then add some soda water and blot again or is that the stain were you move a rug or piece of furniture over it and forget it ever happened
