  1. Well buying cheap doesnt always mean you save money. That's my point.
  2. Jase don't get caught up in big distance. Your light will be fine for shooting critters at 200mtrs, and spotting things at 400mtrs. You don't need anymore than that mate..... 200 - 300mtrs is a long way shooting under the light.
  3. I have the Dereelight DBS-V3 with the aspheric lens (collimator head). Now this torch kicks ass. I use the 18650 battery also. Amazing how far torches have come along.
  4. Yep they are Lane brand. I checked one out last week. They are actually advertised as a 6 gun safe with optional shelving inserts. When the staff member opened the safe for me I thought 6 gun capacity my big foot... For the bucks outlayed a Buffalo River or Big Iron would be cheaper and far better and secure IMO, also more generous and realistic with per gun capacity.
  5. I use Euro Hunter gaiters. I have no experience with the Burke & Wills gaiter Worm.
  6. I think you will be disappointed in that range Rick. At that low price with freight etc included it is just as cheap here in oz.
  7. IMO a good little hand held flash light, but you may be a little disappointed with it on your rifle. Unless your shooting very close. I'm always sceptical how lights are promoted in regards to beam pics, lumen's etc...
  8. Yes these gloves are good for bikes too. You can dye them black with Raven Oil if that's your thing, if your not keen on bright yellow or white. I have lots of pairs of these gloves I acquired hmmm.... you can never have enough. Tig gloves as you know are even softer and very comfy but thin...

Yep I have a couple of original 1968 issue machetes, unreal piece of kit. Very strong, heavy and dependable... Hardly use them though...
  10. Nope, it's in the reflector/size and lens that make the difference. Lightforce have a Parabolic reflector v's some crap reflector on a Supercheap version.... Edit; I just looked at that link, and even a 140 lance would be far better than that rubbish.
  11. Unsure? I'm friggin sure it is, utter bullsh1t. For a walk about light imo the 240 blitz is too big. Go the 170 striker or even the 140 thingo..... Light force are light weight too, another bonus for a walk about rig... I have both the 240 & 170, and the 170 really doesn't give that much away to the 240 in terms of a bright deep pencil beam... Light Force do not exaggerate on their candle power output either.
  12. WTF is that bullsh1t Lily. I think you will be gone real soon!!!
  13. Good set-up there. I too dont fancy a roof mounted light, too many wankers drive around with their ''show & tell'' light.... usually a big chrome powa beam...
